Why Slide Titles Matter

Whether you're pitching investors or presenting to customers, it's easy to get wrapped up in your content and neglect what is by far the most important part of every slide: the title.

Why are slide titles so important? Because they're the first thing your audience reads when they see a slide.

The title of each slide is your opportunity to draw a conclusion for your audience. True, it might be more fun to let people draw their own conclusions, but your goal isn't to make your audience work: it's to get them to agree with you and draw the conclusions you want them to draw.

Indeed slides title is important. It is a great way to reinforce the point. The tag line of the play you are pitching must also be there part of the slide.
